10x: 10x Integrity with Mark Ordus

In this message from the 10x series, Mark Ordus explores the eighth commandment, “You shall not steal,” and reveals that God’s concern extends beyond taking what belongs to someone else. Drawing from Exodus 20 and Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 22, he shows that integrity is ultimately about loving God and loving our neighbors through honesty, trustworthiness, and selfless character. The command against stealing speaks not only to theft, but also to deception, exploitation, and any practice that diminishes the value of others. By reflecting on the life of Jesus, who perfectly embodied truth, honor, and sacrificial love, we are invited to see integrity as more than rule-following. It becomes a way of life that shapes our relationships, strengthens our witness, and multiplies our influence for God’s kingdom. Rather than seeking personal gain at the expense of others, followers of Christ are called to elevate the needs of those around them and live with consistent moral courage, even when no one is watching. May your life reflect the integrity of Christ so clearly that others glimpse the goodness of God through you.
