In Psalm 51, Mark Ordus invites us into David’s powerful prayer of confession after one of the darkest moments of his life. Rather than focusing only on individual mistakes, this message explores David’s deeper request: that God would cleanse the very root of sin within him and restore his heart. Through David’s cry for mercy, pardon, and purity, we see that God’s forgiveness is more than excusing what we’ve done wrong. It is God’s work of transforming who we are from the inside out.
